Marci has been dedicated to the Pet Grooming Industry since 1967.  Although there are no local or state licensing requirements for dog groomers at the present time, Marci has verifiable credentials thereby setting herself apart from others in the industry by voluntarily submitting to extensive testing and Certification by all Nationally recognized industry leaders in Pet Grooming Standards.

Having achieved the highly acclaimed CERTIFIED MASTER GROOMER status, she has gone on to further her skills by confirming that level of expertise by adding NATIONAL and INTERNATIONAL CERTIFIED MASTER GROOMER to her credits.  That designation is registered through PPGC (Professional Pet Groomers Certification, Inc. – Certificate #300),  NDGAA (National Dog Groomers Association of America – Certificate #M101), and IPG (International Pet Groomers ).  She has served as a Certifier for all three organizations helping Pet Professionals throughout  the United States and Canada achieve their personal goals through certification testing, educational seminars and breed standard workshops.

Marci maintains active membership in NDGAA, IPG, The American Mobile Groomers Assoc., NAPPS (National Assoc. of Professional Pet Sitters), Membership in Local Better Business Bureau and Chamber of Commerce, is Red Cross Certified in Pet First Aid and CPR, and is Bonded and Insured.  She is a LIFETIME MEMBER of THE INTERNATIONAL SOCIETY OF CANINE COSMETOLOGISTS.

An avid grooming contest competitor, Marci has many wins to her credit, including the SILVER MEDAL for Terrier Class at INTERGROOM in New York City; known within the industry as the “Grooming Olympics”.

About our Mobile Pet Grooming Salon

The Posh Pup Mobile Pet Grooming “Salon On Wheels” was designed, customized and built to our exact specifications with your pet’s comfort, safety and well-being in mind.  We provide a calm, peaceful, stress-free respite of tranquility for your furry friend’s grooming experience.

Our Mobile Salon has air conditioning and thermostatically controlled heat , so we are cool and comfortable in the summer  & warm and snug in the winter.

Automatic roof ventilation fans provide fresh air and effective moisture removal.

We are proud to provide our furry friends with our healthful Hydrotherapy Massage Bathing System. Invigorating jet action massages the body, aiding in easing aches and pains associated with arthritis and sore joints, as well removing loose hair and exfoliating dead skin, dirt and debris from the coat. This makes for the healthiest skin and coat possible, but most important of all, it feels GREAT!

Our totally self contained salon on wheels is equipped with an on-board hot water heater that ensures a comfortable warm water temperature for your furry friend’s bath. The 50 gallon water tank is filled each morning with fresh water before coming to you. Dirty water from bathing is stored on board in our 50 gallon “grey water” tank and disposed of properly at our facility. (Never at your home.)

Our grooming table is electric and lowers enough that larger dogs can just walk onto the non-skid surface and be raised up to the bath tub where a built- in “bridge” extends for them to walk into the tub. No jumping, no lifting, no worry of being dropped. It eliminates injuries to sensitive hips, backs and sore joints and muscles.

Recommended and used by veterinarians, our stainless steel bathing unit is preferred over plastic or fiberglass units.  The non-bacteria harboring stainless steel surface is smooth allowing us to effectively sanitize between spa treatments.
