We value clients who value their pets by maintaining  regular, pre- scheduled grooming appointments throughout the year.  Our services includes nail trimming, ear cleansing, thorough brushing,  FUR®minator Shedless Treatments,  bathing, and vitamin enhanced coat conditioning and warm-air fluff drying as well as breed specific haircuts or charming “personality trims” for the Designer Dog.

 We strive to work with you to achieve the style you desire that compliments you and your pet’s lifestyle and comfort.   All grooming appointments are routed on a pre-scheduled basis, by areas serviced.  Clients are grouped in as close proximity to one another as possible to conserve fuel usage and drive time between clients each day.  An estimated arrival time is given, allowing for delays caused by traffic/construction conditions, adverse weather conditions, mechanical failures or if our time over-runs on appointments prior to yours.  A two hour time slot is reserved to groom your pet upon our arrival.  

We respect that your time is valuable and ask the same in return.  If we arrive for your pre-scheduled, confirmed appointment and find that no one is home / or arrangements have not been made to provide us with access to the pet, a $50 NO SHOW/NO CANCEL fee  (per pet-per 2hour time slot) will be added to your next grooming bill.   These NO SHOW/NO CANCEL last minute empty time slots do not allow us time to fill the time block(s) and results in lost revenue, wasted fuel, time and mileage usage on our vehicle.  We understand that emergencies due arise and each case will be assessed on an individual basis.

 We respectfully request that any re-scheduling/cancellations be made at least 24 hours in advance.

 

OUR MINIMUM FEE TO BRING OUR SPECIALLY EQUIPPED GROOMING VAN TO YOUR RESIDENCE IS $70.  PRICES INCREASE DEPENDING ON SERVICES REQUESTED AND CONDITION OF PET.  FEES ARE PRIMARILY BASED UPON TIME SPENT SERVICING YOUR PET’S NEEDS.

All services provided will be evaluated and personalized for each client individually.  All dogs and their specific hair coats vary, even within the same breed.   Grooming prices vary for a very simple reason  -  the amount of time and skill it takes to provide your pet with a quality grooming experience.  It isn’t just about the size of your dog; in fact, sometimes smaller dogs that require meticulous scissoring skill and special handling take longer and therefore cost more.

 

IMPORTANT:  due to space limitations and physical restrictions, we service pets weighing up to 50 pounds only.

 

 

 

 

FACTORS IN PRICING:

• Length and Condition of your pets’ coat – Excessive matting/tangling, felted/packed undercoat, dirt or more hair coat than normal for that breed.

• Temperament – (grooming is a ‘co-operative’ effort).  Puppies and Older pets often require extra time and effort.

• Type of service desired – technical difficulty and labor intensive styles/trims requiring hand scissor-sculpting are more costly.

• Frequency of grooming – Seasonal (over 8 weeks since last professional grooming) may be assessed additional fees to compensate for the extra time and effort needed for your pet.

• Size – Obese or over-sized dogs for their breed may incur additional fee. *All pets groomed must be able to physically stand up on their own.*

 

Our “Mini-Groom”

Our “Mini Groom” includes warm hydro-massaging bath with all natural, premium quality shampoo, nail trimming, ear cleansing, thorough brushing, hair trimmed from paw pads and feet hair trimmed and neatened, sanitary areas trimmed of excess hair,  hair above eyes trimmed and face neatened (if appropriate for breed), and warm air fluff-drying.  *Anal glands expressed upon request at no additional fee.

Mini-Groom does NOT include all over body haircut.

Prices start at $70 for small (under 10 pounds), short-haired variety breeds or mixed-heritage dogs    -    $75+  for 11-35 pounds   –  $80+ for 36-50 pounds

Short haired varieties – Examples – Chihuahua, Dachshund, Boston Terrier, Boxer, Labs, Dalmatian, French and English Bulldogs.

Long haired varieties   –  Examples – Shih Tzu, Yorkshire Terrier, Maltese, Cavelier King Charles Spaniel, Shetland Sheepdog, Bichon Frise, American, English, Springer Spaniels, Poodles, Pomeranians.

Our “Full Groom”

Our Full Groom includes all of the above “Mini-Groom” services, plus full Hair Cut/Styling to Breed Appropriate Standards or your own specified customized instructions.

Prices start at $75  for small Long-haired varieties or mixed-heritage dogs (10 pounds and under)        $80 and up for larger dogs.  Call for pricing estimate for your dog.

Price estimates given over the phone are just that – “ESTIMATES” – Given sight-unseen and based on the information you provide.  Pets not being groomed on a REGULAR grooming schedule, which is from every 2-8 weeks throughout the year may be assessed additional fee. A final price will be given prior to any work completed.

• We offer ®FURminator ShedLess Treatments to help reduce shedding,  as well as medicated shampoo baths to soothe and cleanse.  Organic Facial Cleansers are available to help reduce tear stains and odor from around the eyes and mouth areas.

        •Breath Freshener – $4

• Medicated Oatmeal Shampoo – $8

• Flea Shampoo – $10 and up.*Please Note* If you suspect your pet has a FLEA INFESTATION issue – please inform us PRIOR to your scheduled appointment time and we will reschedule your pet(s) for the last appointment of the day .  For health & sanitary reasons, our Mobile Van must be specially cleaned to ensure all fleas are removed, prior to servicing other clients.

Posh Pup Pet Sitting Service is a small, locally owned pet care service devoted to providing outstanding customer service customized to each pets’ specific needs and routines; based on the sound and proven pet philosophy:  “there’s no place like home.”  As pet owners and animal lovers ourselves, we value and understand the importance and impact of reliability, confidentiality and professionalism.

We believe that your pets’ emotional well-being is closely tied to their physical health.  Stress, boredom and lonliness are notorious for causing health and behavior problems in household pets.  By listening to and observing we can “tune-in” to your pet’s emotional state while they are under our care, and we will be better able to give them what they need to feel satisfied and comfortable in your absence.  Whether it’s exercise, affection, playtime or just a little bit of companionship, we listen and respond to your pets’ needs.  Caring pet owners know that most pets adjust better to their owner’s absence and experience less anxiety and stress when they can remain in the own home environments.

We want you to be comforted by the peace of mind that comes from knowing that someone trustworthy, reliable and compassionate is looking after the pets who are most dear to you, as well as your home; and does so with respect, attentiveness and loving care.

Our Pet Sitter “Pet Updates” detail the shenanigans and noteworthy events that transpire during each visit.  Depending on your travel plans, we can, if requested, text to you each day’s journal entries at the end of the day, so you can stay connected with your pets’ busy life.  We know how important that connection is and we will do our best to alliviate any separation anxiety that may occur on your part.

We will endeavor to have you return home to happy pets who have been well cared for, so you and your pets can get right to the quality time……tails wagging and lots of kisses!

OUR RATES:

$18 per visit for up to 2 pets (up to 30 minutes)

$2 additional per pet, per visit, up to 4 pets.

$18 per visit for Mid-day Walks or Potty Breaks Only. (up to 15 minutes)

***please note:  Dogs require a minimum of two visits daily if you are absent for 24 hours or longer.  Cats require a minimum of one visit daily per 24 hours.

Holiday Rates Are $5.00 Additional Per Visit -  Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve Day, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve Day, New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Easter, 4thof July Day, & Labor Day.

OTHER SERVICES- (available upon request for Additional Fees)

OVERNIGHT STAYS – 8PM. TO 6 AM.- (includes morning and evening feeding and exercise)

We will stay at your home to provide personalized TLC and companionship for your pets.  A great service for elderly pets and new puppies “in training”.

$80 per night.  (Holidays – $125.00 per night)

PET TAXI – TRIPS TO THE VET

(Pet Taxi service is available to established clients only)

We will transport your pet to their Vet appointment  – or other location – to within 10 miles of your home.  Includes up to 45 minutes of time including drive time and time spent at the Vet.

$30 per trip.

HOUSE SITTING – NO PETS

Peace of mind service includes bringing in mail/newspapers, taking trash cans to/from curb, alternating lights on/off, adjusting blinds and curtains, watering indoor plants, making sure home is secure inside and out.

$10 per visit weekdays

$20 per visit weekends
